The last couple of weeks have been spent on and off learning about WordPress and how to customize sites. I think I’ve gotten rid of pretty much all the template stuff that was originally on the site and customized the bits and pieces I decided to keep. I added a redburger icon, version 1, and modified the annoying footer. As of now, I’ve decided to set up a structure of zones for separating content. I’ve only really worked on getting the blog set up (which is what I’m using to write this) and a few pages for vehicle galleries. Also a page for computer info because I always forget the details when I need them. These pages were really just an excuse to get me started and give me some experience with the WordPress tools. So far so good. All the content has been put in zone 1. I’m hoping to get zone 2 set up and I’m planning to require membership for access to content in zone 2. We’ll see what happens…
